In my own weak @$$ defense, I have been working out daily.  I've just pushed it later in the morning and afternoon instead of early morning and evening.  No strength yesterday cause I swapped Sun with Mon. 

You're still right though.  Its been proven that a workout first thing followed by protein keeps calories burning all day.  As much
*****ing as I do my @$$ should be leaning on the door waiting for it to open.   

Now you know I'm gonna ***** and moan anyway just cause that's my purpose in life .  As my lurking baby girl says, I'm just a hot steamy mess (or is it a hot stinkin mess?).

Keeping my eye on 40 pounds by 5/24/10. Goal 180

Plan for Yesterday and Outcomes

Breakfast: Protein Bar, Supps, H20 *Done

Snack: Protein Drink - skipped...distracted with work

Lunch: Wendy's Chili - done..large chili and diet coke....I know I need to leave the soda alone...will retain water...I will just get chrystal light

Snack: Protein Drink done on the  way home

Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad ...lettuce  was frozen when I went to make my salad....kids must have turned the temp up again by mistake...I had 4 slices of deli turkey, 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, 5 peach slices with splenda

Snack: Protein Drink or Protein Bar skipped this again...I went to bed early....feeling a little depressed tonight due to an issue.

80 oz of H20 ...I made about 50 ozs

Will not succumb to cravings...did not eat anything else...had about 6 more ounces of H20

Must savor every bit when eating...I did savor

Exercise: 45-60 minutes minimum on Wii Fitness. Will push myself to go longer. Need a target heart rate between 153-163 for aerobic conditioning based on my resting heart rate of 84.
I did not exercise...went o bed...a little depressed....might take me a minute

Will go buy a heart rate monitor after work. Did not get one...will go get one at lunch in a few minutes

Overall....I know I can do better but I was depressed and know exactly what was going on with me.  I was conscious not to overeat...did the opposite by not eating or drinking enough. I figure at this point its the lesser of two evils...as long as I dont do it consistently.

Plan for Today:

I want to make breakfast my most hearty meal of the day. Light at lunch and dinner. Might get into making dinner and snack a customized protein shakes...since the kids eat at sitters before we get home. 

Breakfast: I scarmbled egg, 1 turkey sausage patty, 3 slices of peach, 2 table spoons of cottage cheese. 

Snack: Protein Drink

Lunch: Wendy's Chili

Snack: Protein Drink

Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad since I did not have it yesterday...will buy lettuce

Snack: Protein Drink or Protein Bar

  For not turning to food.  I'm with you in this struggle and I know we are in good company.  I'd rather miss a meal than binge when I'm down.  We will find balance one day.  

I hope your issues are quickly resolved and you're back to feeling positive today.

Yes...you are so right...at least I did not have to combat the guilt of eating something I should not eat. Guilt and depression is a sure combination for a set back. I will take one tense feeling at a time please...LOL! Thanks MSW!

Yesterday was a new beginning for me. I have now started to journal everything I put in my mouth!

I worked out last night and it felt good (it hurt but it felt so good). Tonight I will work out again after work.

I need this post because I need to be held accountable for my surgery.

This is a struggle to be shared.  Logging my food has been a life saver for me.  I find now my calories fall right in line even if I don't get around to tracking then till the next day.  From journaling I've learned how much to eat. 

 on the workout.  It really helps with loosing inches.

I've never been a calorie counter at all. I just want to see what I eat on a daily basis and see if this is causing my stall.  To be honest with you I don't care about inches I want to see the pounds drop!!
