Tomorrow is my BIG DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Hi OH Family,
I have to be at the hospital at 5:00 AM tomorrow morning. They are going to start the surgery at 7:30 AM. I'm getting the RNY done. I have been waiting so long for this and now that's it here it feels like I'm not ready.
No matter what I will be there tomorrow, I'm just a little scared thats all.

Thank goodness for the time difference! I'll actually be awake and functioning in time to light my remember-to-pray-for
candle for you, Ree!
All will be well.
Remember, the surgery is the beginning - this is a Hero's Journey you are about to set forth on! Truly a quest!
This is not another diet, this is the rest-of-your-life!
Imagine: You've learned to live in a normal-sized, strong, healthy body; you have a healthy relationship to food; you enjoy being physically active and working up a sweat (could be by dancing, bicycling, hiking, rolllerblading) a couple of times a week...
Maintaining your weight is natural to you.
NOW: what do you do with all those hours, adding up to weeks/months that you used to fill with diet-related thoughts & activities?
Who & What are you free to become & do?
Until you can get clear pictures of a future worth living for, there will always lurk the triggers that convince you there will ALWAYS be a struggle around food & weight loss!
I'll be here, waiting for you on the other side! Along with alllll your other OH sisters & brothers!
