Congratulations to you and your intended.  You know he's sincere when he shares a beautiful family heirloom with you.  A ring filled with his history and an invitation to become a part of its legacy.  You are truly blessed. 

What a coincidence I would read this today.  I recently signd up on three sites for which I have/plan to hide or delete my profile.  I spent the evening politely declining a parade of loosers who've contacted me since before Thanksgiving.   Even with a hidden profile, loosers who know my screen name have still found me. 

Its a curiosity for me as opposed to looking for "the one".  However, its nice to be reminded again that this has worked for so many.  Perhaps I'll try again if I'm ever ready to embark on an all out man hunt.  Can I really stand to kiss sooooo many frogs to find my prince?

Thanks so much MSW I really appreciate your insight on things! Don't give you! You deserve the best! Trust me I got emails and winks from more losers than winners! Just think of this way -- it's NEVER personal UNTIL you meet the ONE! If someone comes to you in a derogatory way online just hit the delete key -- it took me awhile before I realized most guys online are either married, separated, too many kids, ex-wife baby mama drama, hustlers looking to rip women off; or just looking for sex.

But the good news is there is that small percentage out there that is truly seeking love and marriage this is the reason it takes time and patience to do online dating to sift through all the garbage. It took me 3 years before I met Erik, I met some nice guys, I dated every race out there and I will tella MEN are all the same.  I never waste time on a guy if I remotely think he is not the ONE, because you have so many men to choose from online dating, it makes no sense to waste time on a guy that is shallow or is not commitment minded. I really PREFER online dating versus nightclubs or meeting at a church or grocery store because you can SEE their profile information, such as job, income, how many kids, married, divorced and how they look before feelings are established, I would recommend online dating especially nowadays when it is so hard to meet quality good guys.

I am wishing you luck and never give up! It take most people a few years to really find that special person.
