Just know that in the midst of the enemy's mess, God will bless!!  Do not stress, seek God even the more & see what direction he wants you to go in, personally & professionally.   He may just want you to stand still for a time & what better way to do so by having your financial needs covered by a severance package & unemployment.

I will be keeping you lifted in prayer. I was not going to respond to this thread but when I saw that you wrote...........you are thankful for your severance........I had to.

We all have so much to be thankful for..........my official last day is February 12, 2010 unless I get something before then. I can collect unemployment but my company did the WARN Act which means they gave us all 60-day notice and do not have to pay severance. I am still grateful for the notice and was truly tired of the rumors that it would happen. I am still grateful because I know that God is up to something and what's to come, is better than what's been. I'm excited to start a new beginning! I know God will place us right where we need to be!

 

You got that right GOD is definitely up to something GREAT for us!  My company told us in September they where going to close our department.  They would not give us any dates but they did tell us they would provide two weeks of pay for every year of services.  So I was grateful for that then we can file for unemployment because our severence is one hundred precent of our pay and benefits. They are also providing placement services so things are definitely looking up for my bright future.  I will not complain thanks :0)

Don't foget free schooling is also available as well!!

I use that as my mantra......
