On the 3rd day of Christmas my true love gave to me:  three French hens (French horns???), two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree!  Every body sing, lol.    I hope we're all having an excellent Christmas weekend. 

Tell the whole truth and be accountable. 
 How are you doing this weekend.  Are the leftovers doing you in?  This weekend is a big one for head hunger.  Avoid the SEE FOOD DIET however you can!

Time for me to get off the SEE FOOD DIET.  I really have been tasting nearly everything I see.  Call me the Merry Christmas Glutton for the last two days.  A holidy first for me:  I have stayed away from the boozing.   I usually drink my holiday calories. 

Yesterday was decent.  All vits, respectable liquids, but too many carbs.  I got my protein in but no extra as I had planned.  There was no room for it after the cake, pie, crackers and nuts I'd eaten.  Small servings but eaten all the same. 

Despite this I am finally loosing the sudden weight gain of last week.  Down another pound this morning although I'm 54% water and heavily bloated.  Still 1.6 lbs left to get back to where I was at Thanksgiving.  If lucky I'll actually loose a whole pound for the month. 

Today I have nothing planned other than to get vits, a shake, and liquids in.  I'm off the carbs and back to normal eating tomorrow so I plan to taste a little more today.  Max serving for carbs is 2 oz.

I have been upping my water lately and taking water pills because since i'm not working out my body is holding onto water like crazy.  

I can't wait till I can workout again, before i'm 275 pounds again.

Hope the pain is subsiding or at least the drugs are making you comfortable. 

I'm on water pills too and still I'm at 54% per my body water scale.  I have to limit my liquids to 80 oz or less.  Above 80 oz worsens it.  When I was doing a gallon a day I had huge kankles nearly the size of my knees.

On the rebound today with good choices...so far so good but it is just 6:19 CST

Hang in there girl, just hold on.  Late night is my weakness too.

I know I'm a newbie in my honeymoon phase, but I thought I'd chime in anyway.  I'm curious to document and journal my eating patterns next year at holiday time.  I'm sure my eating will be different, but I wonder how much different.  I sampled a few things in bite sized portions, but no over eating.  My weakness has always been all things sweet, but since the procedure, I still haven't re-engaged with the sweet eating, so I didn't partake.  But it all sure did look good!  I pretty much got my protein, water and vits in, but not all everyday.  I feel so off schedule and out of sync, since I'm off work for a couple of days and not on my usual work schedule.  It's hard for me to remember to eat on schedule and get everything in.

Newbie, pre op, no op, 'tweens' as I like to call myself, vets, everyone is welcome here.  Its all about propping each other up so we arrive at and stay at a healthy weight. 

Its my first Christmas too.  Although I've eaten a lot its no where near what it was in the past.  We're in the same boat.  Off of our routine and trying not to make a mess of it. 

Good for you on skipping the sweets.  I've induldged myself but except for one cake everything else is artificially sweetened.  Plan your meals and be strong.  Jump in any time.

Good morning!

I'm just rolling out the bed this morning but I'm feeling rested. I need to get back on my schedule but all these off days has me LAZY, Nevertheless, I weigh in on Mondays and I've gained another 2 pounds. I'm not sure what's going on............last week I worked out, took my vits, increased my water now I'm like............wth is really going on? I'm going to make that appointment to see my NUT next week when I back to work (since the doc office is across the street from my job). I'm trying not to get discouraged and I'm starting to get all the comments........you don't need to lose anymore weight.........that's enough.........blah blah blah. I still have at least 40 pounds to shed so I don't want to hear that crap but in the back of my mind i keep thinking..............is this it?
