Girl, I have to admit, you are "singin my song" exactly. I never reached goal, still 40 lbs. to go, gained back almost 15 lbs. without every reaching goal. had no room to gain, but I did. talk about an emotional roller coaster........it has been just that ! when we know better, we do better, we'll get this thing right ..................cause it ain't over till the "slim" lady sings !!!
this is a serious journey..............but i'm glad i'm talking about having to lose 40 lbs. and not
140 lbs........but it's still very very hard! How I wished I could have that "honeymoon" phase just one more time

Gurrrllll, we have all been there. My body/thyroid is trying to mess with me right now and I have just come off a long fast (which messes with my metabolism too), I am waiting till after the holidays to "clean the house" of unhealthy foods and bump up my workouts.
I believe in constant change and adding different things to my workouts and food choices. I am starting the boot camp offered on Saturdays at my gym in January. Just shake it up girl. Do something different. Take a belly dancing class or start a walking group with the girls. Add some new foods to the routine, even something as small as a new salad can really help.
I know you can do this. You have the right mindset and the right attitude and you have the right tools. Do this boo!!!

Thanks Glam!
I do know what I have to do...and I think posting daily will help keep me focused. Forty is not such a large number...just need to do one pound at a time.
You are right about mixing things up. I was trying to go back and reuse my menus from before...man..that was so boring and unmotivating. I am going to try some new recipes...to spice things up but keep them healthy.
That's a keeper that I had not even considered. I really appreciate your support.
