You'll be happy to get those staples out and keep it clean and moisturized. Please follow you dr's orders and it will be hard with the temptaions of the holidays. Keep hydrated. Look up some wonderful protein shake recipes that will help you. Take your time and continue to sip. I'm almost 2 yrs out and I enjoy a nice warm cup of chai tea with vanilla protein powder in the morning. The only thing is when mixing protein powder with warm drinks is you need to mix the protein powder and some room temperature water together to make a paste in a separate container. Then heat your tea or cocoa to warm and then add the paste while stirring constantly. Good luck.
