Its Tuesday my BAF family.  Merry Christmas!  TWO days untill Christmas Eve and THREE days untill Christmas morning.  

Tell the whole truth and be ccountable.  Have you gotten there yet?  By there I mean the point at which we can enjoy the not so weight loss friendly foods yet not over indulge.

To answer my own question, I have definitely not gotten there yet.  I'm almost there but not all the way.   I can stop at a reasonable serving but only because the pouch makes me.  I still eat until full too often.  The desire to eat is still with me.  The pouch puts it in check.  I want to have total control over that desire.   

Yesterday my wls support group had its Christmas party.  While I did not over eat and there was nothing too bad on offer, I would like to get to the point where I am satisfied with a little less food.  I had several sf cookies.  Hopefully one day soon just A cookie will be enough.

Overall the day was ok except for water.  Only 48oz.  Dinner at the party was more carby than my norm but I loaded on protein early in the day and saved calories for the party.  I also put in an extra 30 min of cardio in advance.  I did not stay under 1000 calories but I stayed well within my range for normal wl.  Unfortunately its hard to get an exact calorie count when eating out.  All vits were taken for the day.

I need to up the protein today and cleanse from those carbs.  Also, I have to get at least 80 oz including some plain water today.  It feels like there's a rock in my pouch this morning.   Damn those sf cookies.

Just so you know the desire to eat is still within most of us.  I struggle with it constantly.  Yesterday I had a diet coke, baked potato, a few chips and a couple bites of cake.

Today so far, I have had coffee, bacon, diet coke and I am freaking starving or at least my brain tells me that I am. 

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

This desire is really kicking @$$ this week.  With everyone in the house I have less control over whats in the cupboard.  I was getting better but now with all this temptation...

I rocked the 5am gym session this morning - full body weights and elliptical.  Protein shake at home afterward, about to eat a burger sammich and then get to gettin in my water.

Vitamins done and today is my Friday - man o man have I been waiting for the end of this week right here!  only 2 days but man they have been LONG!!!!  hahahhaha

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Didn't do anything today but I had a funeral this morning. I had no energy or will to do any working out. I will try to get moving tomorrow.
When nothing else could help................LOVE lifted me!!!!

How about picking up a quick easy workout for the days you're short on time or just not feeling it?  A 20 minute jog or a 30 min walk dvd perhaps?  There are also some good 20 - 30 min circut training dvd's.  Juillian Michaels has a good one with three levels, twenty minutes each.  One for a quick workout to all three for an intense hour.
