Well, um er ah, we just got a smattering last night w/a little ice, which I almost fell on my butt trying to clean my car this am.  But my cuz who lives in NYC was upset because corporate had wanted the stores to open regardless, but they finally came to their senses, so he's safe at home.  Yes yur crazy girl!! Just be extra careful!

I know....I need to cuddle up in that bed...with some hot cocoa, watch a light hearted comedy and just get some rest for real. Where do you live Gigi?

I live outside of Springfield IL.  I'm smack dab in the middle of corn country baby!!  People are always in awe when they come through because all you literally see from any of the highways is corn during the summer.

Gurl....I have flashbacks when I think about cornfields.... I blew an engine out in the middle of nothing but cornfields in a very RURAL and very racist area of Arkansas back in 1988. Talk about a  being scared... My God was looking out for me....I KNOW that is was no coincidence that my regional director drove by and saw me stranded.  She was not even to be in that territory that day.  If not but the grace of God...I am sure I would not be posting on this board today................BUT...I lubs me some corn...especially wrapped in foil and grilled over the BBQ. Now I need to go find me some grub somewhere around here.... Well...judging by the looks of things...I'd say the party is going to be here tonight....much too dangerous to do out.  

The deck was shoveled 3 hours ago now look at it just as much snow as the 1st time! Looks like we are going to get that 15- 20 inches in Maryland.  This is Patron or Gray Goose weather okay maybe just a good day to get in all of my "good" liquids :)

Oh snap Poker....I just had a few drinks at the bar! Next time I will not be travelling in the potential bad weather without a little stash of my favorite drank, White Zin or Ingredients for Mamosa or Fuzzy Navels. All the stores around are closed.

This would have been a good night to start a "Getting our drink on" thread....Everyone get a few dranks and talk shioot....I bet that would be some funny shioot...esp if Aye and MM participate!!! 

I escaped the blizzard! 

I had a 5:50 am flight out of town so I made it before the weather hit Connecticut.  It was the first flight out of Westchester County Airport this morning and one of the few predicted to actually get out at all.  Flights from coastal areas of the South were already cancelled.

I'm in S GA, nearest big city, smack between Jacksonville and Tallehasse.  Five miles N of Fl and its damned cold here too.  But thank God, no snow. 

I'm praying this all clears up by Monday.  The family is all headed here for Christmas. 

So glad you made it safely to your destination MSW! My girls and I will be heading to Houston on Xmas Eve. Hope the weather will cooperate. We are leaving out from Philly!  Praying that it clears up for all the holiday travelers.  Enjoy your vacation!
