Visit with surgeon today...
I had my appointment with my gastric bypass surgeon today (can't believe it's been 4 years since I last saw him - but he was cool...I'm hiding in shame on myself!)
Most of you know I've been experiencing nausea and pain over the past few months and was referred back to him for follow-up care.
I am now waiting to have an upper GI, CT scan of the pelvis and abdomen, and an EGD scope - all will be done over the next month. I also have to meet with my gastroenterologist before the scope.
Although I can tolerate SOME foods, it's the nausea, cramping and fatigue that gets me sometimes. I am learning to be patient, especially since I have to undergo these tests to learn if there is indeed a problem relating to the surgery.
Hopefully, I'll know soon. Thanks for your prayers - and I ask you to continue to pray for me - pray that they find nothing.
