My Latest NSV's

For newbies, a nsv is a non-scale victory. We count all victories around here. Well this past Fri. was my hubby's Christmas party and I just wasn't into it this year. So I went rummaging through my closet and found something decent and put on some fishnet tights (my first time wearing them ever) and wore my daughter's boots a size 11 and I used to wear a shoe size 12w.

The photographers have taken pictures every year and the woman partner saw me and said, "Oh my goodness you've lost even more weight than last year and you should be on a runway" I was like I'm way too old and she said, " No, I do pictures for Mrs. Tennessee and models all the time and you should be modeling." That made me feel good.

People that never paid any attention to me at the other parties were all over me and wanting to take pictures with me but it gave me mixed feelings because I think that they are fake. Why didn't they talk to me when I was big and why didn't they want a picture of me then? My hubby's co-workers were looking at me like I was a piece of meat or cheescake or something and it made me feel uneasy.

I was flattered by all of the compliments and by how many people told me I should be modeling but I'm not used to that kind of attention. People have always stared at me because of my height because you don't see 6'3 women walking around everyday but these looks were different. There are some pics on my profile.

Rita......you are amazingly beautiful!!!!! You have natural beauty and it shows from the inside out. They were looking because you have a new confidence that is coming through. You admitted that you never really did anything at the other parties except for sit and look and wish to go home. You have come out of your shell and people are "seeing" you because you are allowing them into your world. I am proud of you!!!! You look awesome!!!!!

Didn't those fishnets make you feel sexy?....hehehehe

Thank y'all so much for the kind words on my pics. My son downloaded them here and fb and got carried away and people are going to think that I'm vain.

I'm not tech savvy so I just tell him when I need a new avatar and to download my new pics that he thinks looks good but I didn't think he would download that many. It is very rare when I'm camera ready so I guess he figured he better take advantage while he could.

Juanita, I didn't get the photographer's business card because I couldn't believe what she was saying and I told my hubby that she had no idea what my thighs, tummy and boobies looked like under my clothes.
