UPDATE ON MY BACK INJURY, DRUGS, DRUGS, DRUGS

Went to hospital yesterday at 3:30, was there 3 hours.
They did a urine test to check my kidneys, (they are fine.)

I got a back shot of Toradol to help with the spasm pain
They also gave me Norco which is a stronger Vicodin
They gave me Cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxer
They gave me Nortriptyline starter pack,  Which is a daily pain management system for my chronic back pain........

They are going to do a MRI on Friday.

I have had back problems for many years,  it runs in my family,  I have several sisters that have had back operations.



I HAVE JUST THE RIGHT DRUGS TO ALLOW ME TO FINISH MY PROGRAM.   YEAAAAA !!!!!!  THEN I'LL REST.

Don't get too high...LOL...I am happy to hear that you will have relief.

I took the muscle relaxer last night and was able to sleep.  Doubt if I take this stuff unless I really have to like yesterday.

GOD Bless you to be able to take all those pain meds I pray your body
 can handle it, I know mine can't you are in my prayers back pain or
 any pain is nothing to play with.   Take it easy and when you have to
 bend like to pick up something do the golfers bend with one leg out or
 if you can try to stoop down. All my best to you.

I told my doc not to give me any refills cause I know I won't take this stuff unless i'm really bad like yesterday.

He can go to hell on the daily pain pills though, I don't want to have to take pain pills every single day.

You should be feeling no pain about now...LOL,   now look at Becca and tell me many do see..if you see Becca's twin standing next to her then you are HIGH!  Hope you feel better Lee.

Yeah but it's not as bad as it seems.   I always have to take pain meds for my back because it is messed up from arthritis.   

The pills in the pack is a new pain management system that I do for 5 weeks and then it will tell them just how much pain meds I need.

The muscle relaxers is just to get me pass this injury, and the stronger vicodin is just to help when my back is really out like it is right now.

I only take pain meds when I need it. Unfortunately I need it now. 
But i'm running in the morning.

 

with all those drugs...............you'll be saying........"pain" "what pain"????????????   gotta love it !  Glad you got some relief.

hope you'll soon be at 100% again.
