OK, guys i'm pretty sure it is my siatic nerve after reading some stuff online and having to deal with this with Becca.
The pain is in my hip on the left side, when I try to stand or walk it's as if a pit bull is biting my ass and hip and there is a jolting pain and I can't freaking move. Sounds like Siatic to me.
When she had this before her surger they gave her Percaset, well we can't take that now.
What do you guys take for Siatic nerve issues.
I have a appt at 4:30 with my doctor, and want to tell him what drugs other WLS people use cause the primary care doctors don't know crap about WLS.

I had a different surgery in Feb. and I took Percocept. for about 1 1/2 weeks 4x per day. I've also taken vicodin. they both worked really good!
hope you feel better soon!

Hi Lee,
I have some of the same issues with my siatic nerve and knee pain. My PCP prescribed for me Ultracet and Vicodin, and it has worked wonderfully for me. The only thing is that I have to take it at night because it does make me drowsy. I also got injections for hips a couple of weeks ago. This has worked like a charm to almost eliminate the pain altogether. So ask if that might be an option for you.
