Fish Market is a good spot. Love it there. Great atmosphere with mature blk professionals! ihaven't been on the club scene in a while. Been doing more lounging than anything. The Zansibar is always a winner when you can't think of anything else.

ETA: Hogates is suppose to be the newest hangout for the grown and sexy. It's the OLD H2O right next to Zansibar. Going to a Xmas party there tomorrow.

When I read the post I was gonna say Hogates too. I haven't been but heard it was nice. There's a couple of places on H St NE that I go to, Martini lounge and XII and a couple on U St, Indulj being my favorite. Staying on the Fish Market side of town there's Martini's and club Elite. I haven't been to either in years but they are close to the restaurant.

May I make a suggestion. YES, let's see Laverne off! She deserves nothing less than a grand send off from her friends. However,Seeing as so many people want to see Laverne off but the timing is off, I suggest a big WELCOME BACK party upon her return. This will give us ample time to pull together and celebrate her safe return in a GRAND way. It will give those would be travelers more time to plan.
