scrapple

My mom use to take pork scraps and mu**** up (the proper word is blend).  Then, she would mix that mess with cornmeal and seasonings.  Add a little crisco to a pan until it melted and pour her concoction over in it and stir until it was stuck together.  lol.   My family would tear into that stuff like it was filet mignon.

That's my definition of scrapple.  Maybe someone else can give you the culinary answer.

Someone say SCRAPPLE???      

Parks, the sausage company makes it.  We loved it growing up.  Never had a clue it was cornmeal that held it all together.  I'm assuming its what wasn't good enough to make sausage with.  Scary to think about but oh so tasty.  Hard to find it these days.

I did well I think

My protein drink

3 turkey sausage links

small salad w/ chicken, cucumbers, olives, brocoli, green pepper, and 1 egg

half piece of baked flounder and fresh cooked soinach

a taste of roast that i had cooking in the crockpot

and 8-10 wheat thins

I did manage to drink 65 ounces of water which is good for me

B-Coffee Jimmy Dean Delight Bowl

L-1/3 whopper with cheese and eight fries

S- 1/2 serviing cheez-its and pepperoni stick

S-1 salmon croquette

D- Boiled Chicken, black eye peas and small piece of homemade corn bread

S- tropical lemonheads, 2 now n laters, and two  chocolate truffle it all TOM fault why I had a bad day.

For the day:

*4 oz meatloaf (chicken, turkey. lean beef, no bread crumbs) w/ 1/4 c   black beans
*1 fried chicken wing
*1 apple
*1c plain canned pumpkin w/ 1 scoop protein
*4 oz ground beef
*2 oz mixed stewed meats
*popsicles/ creamsicles
