I had posted this in another site yesterday. I just wanted to share it here. It may be corny to some, old fashioned to others, :

Great post D'Alexis. And I agree with Cookie I have someone like this. It still amaze me that you're single. Too me MEN have a better pool of women to choose then women with men.

Larger pool doesn't necessarily mean better or easier. That just means there are more to choose from. For example, if a guy is raggedy, it usually doesn't take long for many women to weed him out...unless he has a great "representative" or she is dull-witted, or she sees it and doesn't care.
Because there ARE so many qualitiy sisters out there, the question is: which quality one if the one for me? This is a bad analogy and I will probably catch hell for it, but here goes: if you're going car shopping or shoe shopping, do you take the first item that appeals to you or do you comparison shop? No, that's not the same as being a male ho', for many male ho's aren't really looking for the one, but looking for ANYone.
I guess i'm single because i'm in search of my soulmate. While I've found / met many great women, for one reason or another, they don't pan out. But its cool...and I'm hopeful.

I thank you for the vote of confidence, but ain't nothing special about me. I have my failings/foibles like anyone else.
I just try to treat people the way I want to be treated. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, for I have no delusions of grandeur about myself: I'm an acquired tasted and ain't for everybody. lol
