No.....that dayum game did not say that at 43 I have the fitness age of a 51 year old! my 11 year old has the Fitness age of a 30 year old and my 6 year old has the Fitness age of a 36 year old! Well....my only question is .....is these Fitness ages of healthy folks at those ages or some run down, crack addict folks at those ages! Lmaooooo.... My fat azz will always try to find a hole in the system! I have seen some 51 year olds in dayum good shape though! LOL!
So far, we are loving this system! My girls and I completed our profiles, set our goals. Yep...even little SiSi....has a goal to lose a pound in a month. Since they both fall in the overweight range too....however, the girls are really solid and I don't want them focused on weight as much as I want them focused on eating right and exercising.
We played all the games. None of us have good balance and our posture were off. The games themselves will get your heart to pumping.
I like the fact that its something that we can all do together. We really enjoyed ourselves.
If you find a good deal on the Wii....from what I see so far...I would strongly recommend it.
Its very interactive...lets you create a little onscreen avatar (Mii) for yourself and it helps you along.
Very user friendly!
Tonight.....I am going to do my first workout...keep you posted.
I took some more in transition pictures to help motivate me...was a very good thing.....the rolls are not pretty! Even though I am a far cry from where I was....I need to stop play acting and get this DONE already! Exercise...regular and intense is my key.

OMG! Here I am as fast as I possibly can....and that dayum hula hoop....kept dropping down by my feet as if to say "shioot you ain't doin' nothing"! Then I would lose my balance and fall off! LOL! My oldest was the only one that could keep it going for a little time. All those games had us so tickled! Especially the obstacle course that kept hitting us upside the head with those demolition balls if we did not clear them!!! Its too much fun! Wii Like!!! Thanks for checking in on me!
The Hula hoop is my very favorite, girl don't even play you know how to "stir it like coffee" Keep practicing and you will get. We love our Wii, no other game can keep Me, Hubby and my 13 and 6 year old in the same room for a whole evening laughing and enjoying each other.
Side note: I can't wait till Christmas so I can open my... I mean my son can open his (hee-hee) DJ Hero... Mixing and scratching here we come.!!!!!

I feel like a whole new level of communication has been opened up with my oldest. Shes been going through "those" changes. She was definitely more open afterward. She and her sister made a major break through....cause sibling rivalry is in full effect in my home. They actually enjoyed playing with each other. This was the best decision I made...getting this game. Now back to stirring the coffee tonight after my workout!

You are so right when you say it brings family togetherness,My husband,my daughters,son-in-laws and grands all love it and I want even tell you my fitness age.LOL. Girl you will soon master the hula hoop,I am now pretty good with it and love it.It gives me a good workout,if I would just stick to it.My family are into the golf games and the bowling.
Yeahh!! Thanks for posting, I am SURELY getting this system. Praying right now that our bonus comes thru at work. Asked my husband if we should fix the computer OR get (me) a Wii. Choices/choices. I hate being the "responsible adult" all the time. Promised myself that WHEN I get the Wii, I'm ON IT!! You guys are ALL blowin me out the water! Here I come to join you!

Hi Anewme,
You most definitely will not regret getting this system. The Wii system is being offered at Target for $199 with a free $20 giftcard. Walmart was offering a $50 gift card for a system of the same price. SO you will be set up for about $300 including Wii Fitness Plus....less any gift cards. Let me know how you enjoy it...when you get it.
Check out QVC as Lee suggested....I am sure you will find a good deal!
