I'm Ready...I Think...Xpost

I am 1 week shy of 1 year post-op and at that point should have about 14 more lbs to lose...I DO NOT WANT CHILDREN so this is no issue for me.

I am ready for plastic surgery: My consult is Jan 5, 2010 with Emily Pollard is has performed 3 breast reductions on my co-workers and they praise her...She has been on Oprah and MTV and I like her thus far. I am having a reduction from a 38D to a 36/38 C which the insurance will cover. I am looking to have Brachioplasty and an Extended Tummy Tuck as well. I am looking to have my surgeries in May as soon as my semester at school ends.

Dr. Sauceda in Mexico gave me a great quote whi*****luded BA/BL, Arm Lift, Extended Tummy Tuck, and Fat Injections.

I had a phone consult with 2 surgeons in and around Philly and they advise approximately 13k for the arms and my tummy.

I am planning on using Cash and my maximum is 15k and I am so ready for it but would like to make the best decision possible.

I have a lot of feedback about Dr. Sauceda and think he is a great guy but prior to going with him I was just trying to find comparable surgeons in my area...ANY SUGGESTIONS. Thanks.

I am not in your area but I wanted to wish you good luck as you begin the next phase of your journey.

I WAS thinking about doing that the first of the year before meeting Erik and the talk about the swine fllu and he talked me out of it....but if I were to do it I would pick Dr. Sauceda, I've seen a lot of his work and he is reasonable!  Good luck I bet you will not be disappointed.

Thanks so much Naomi...Yes Dr. Sauceda is the bomb and I sent my pictures and he quoted me for everything @ right under 13k but I am going to have my reduction done by Emily Pollard, so I am not sure how much he will take off for that, but I will definitely consider Dr. S.

Please, please, please wait until your weight stabilizes to get the best results.  That is usually between 18-24 months post-op.  I know you're anxious, but if at all possible, wait.

Hey Cookie...I appreciate you response but unfortunately with work and school I have to have my surgery in May...I will be 17 months post-op so hopefully that should help...I turn 30 in September and really want tp turn 30 with a bang.

I have to agree with Cookie here PLEASE wait until your wait stabilize (which is between 18-24 months).  Most plastic surgeons recommend that before proceeding with surgery.
