Our girl, LuciousLA (LaVerne) is going to Iraq for 6 months (or more). 


I thought it would be a great idea to get together to break bread and dance the night away with her before she leaves.

Before you start filling up your 2010 calendar with events, please keep Saturday, January 16, 2010 open.  Let's show our girl how much we love and appreciate her.

I had no idea LaVern was in the military.  

That really sucks, 

She's prior military and works for the government.  She's going to Iraq as a civilian.

I thought about going, too.  They pay big bucks!

Yeah they pay a lot but the payoff isn't worth it.   I prefer my safety.   

I hope she is safe makes lots of money and comes home safe.

Ahh snap! I got to clear my calendar. You knows I likes me some dc/va/md and party? all at the same time.

I got to get it together to see my girl off right.

...i'm gonnna try everything in my power to get there for this.
