IS THIS A WLS SUPPORT BOARD

IVE BEEN AROUND FOR A MINUTE AND HAVE COME ACROSS A FEW COOL PEEPS . ITS SEEMS TO ME IF YOUR NOT IN THE IN CROWD YOU GET NO "LOVE" MEANING NO MATTER WHAT THE QUESTION IS IF YOUR NOT A KNOWN MEMBER YOU GET NO REPLY....AND THAT IS SO SAD...I NEVER COME ON HERE OFTEN BECAUSE I DONT GET WLS SUPPORT WHICH IS WHAT IM LOOKING FOR AND IM SURE SOME OTHER FOLK ARE AS WELL...I CAN FIND IT ELSE WHERE...I JUST FELT THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID....U CAN COME OUT YOUR FACE AND TRY AND START A INTERNET BATTLE IF YOUWANT....BUT I MIGHT NOT REPLY RIGHT AWAY ...BUT TRUST I WILL REPLY

Hi there,

I've felt that way at times, in the couple of years I've been here, I've actually befriended some pretty good people who have been very supportive of me and my weight loss goals. 

There have been times where I've decided "enough was enough" of this place because of some of the negativity that sometimes does find its way here, however, please don't let a some less that savory contacts come in the way of you're possibly bonding on here....there really ARE some cool people here. 

No, i'm not here to start a 'net battle (I've had my share of them in the past)...just here to give you some support in that there are those of us who try to be supportive.

Im sure there are some cool peeps on here ive come across a few from time to time. Im not letting anyone run me away I just feel like whyats the point of coming so often when I rarely read about WLS or get a question answered ...but thank u sir

Sorry you feel that way (I too have felt the same).  I could possibly be one of the people of whom you speak.  I read your post on yesterday but I did not respond because I have no experience with it and it didn't make sense to give you "my opinion" on something I know nothing about.

Missthangca, I used to do new post-op tips of the day and then I did them weekly because the participation was low. There are exercise posts, accountibility posts and posts to remind you to take your vitamins, protein and water. This board has been a little slower lately and it was discussed last week and no one really knows why. I haven't been posting as much lately due to illness. I suffered a grand mal seizure and bronchitis on Thanksgiving and when I suffer set backs in my health, I mostly read or answer sporadically. This has been a supportive board for me but I admit it has been in a lull for a few months. I wish you success on your journey.

My heart and prayers are with you. I did not know that you were sick; I have been so bogged down with school work, and I'm just not here as much as I would like to be.  I'm praying for your healing and strength.  Even thought I was not post op, and neither did I have RNY, I have always enjoyed reading you post-op tips.

Rita sweetheart, I am so sorry to hear this.  Trust me when I say this, I know what it is like to deal with a catastrophic illness.  My daughter is still recovering and my husband was diagnosed with cancer last year at this time.  Trust me also when I say, I have watched God instantly heal my husband and over time heal my daughter.  She isn't all the way there yet, but she will be.  So I want you to know that God is bigger than your illness.  He can and will do it for you as well.  He loves you and will never leave you or forsake you.  I find reading Psalm 91 VERY comforting during illness.  I'm lifting you in pray.   I am standing in agreement with you that you are healed from the top or you beautiful head to the souls of your lovely toes.  You are healed in the name of Jesus.  I am hear for you, if you need me.  Call anytime.
