OT - Never Married, Over 40, Well-Adjusted

  I was JUST posting about this on my FB!!!!!  I have come to realize and embrace the FACT that I do not want to be married - my drive for that crap was because it was what's "supposed" to happen.  I am now realizing that I really don't care to have another mofo in my space on a consistent, regular basis - and it's not wrong to feel that way!!!!

And I also looked at the fact that I've never followed convention or tradition when it came to anything else in my life - so why try to be conventional in my relationships when that ain't what I'm feeling either??!!!!!

Such a weight off my shoulders to let that go.......

And it's good that you learned this about yourself before you took wedding vows and wound up miserable.

THOUGHT i wanted somebody to sleep/cuddle with every night.  Tried that ish out for a couple days and was like MOOOOVVEEEEE - get offa me!!!!  and 'did u just FART'??? 

Once i threw conventional wisdom out on it's proverbial arse - my mind really freed up!  and you're right - I would have been MISERABLE and would have terrorized some poor sap!
