Sorry I'm so late today.  Did you take a few minutes yesterday to plan for the comming week?  How did you do last week?  Did you get the results you were looking for?  If not, do you understand why?  Tell the whole truth and be accountable. 

We know this will never be easy.  When you are not getting where you believe you are headed, its time to review, re-asess, revise.  With thoughtful analysis you'll find patterns and clues to what you need to change.  Ask questions.  Use your support system.  When feeling discouraged, take action.

Hey Marcia!

I did not plan to do anything for the week.  I will be taking the pills every other day starting today.  I am going to make an attempt at the protein train/atkins from today through Friday. My niece is graduating from college on Saturdday and I will be heading toward the food mecca...NOLA/Houma on Friday. I need to try and do everything right before I get there.

Taking those pills and prepping for a food filled weekend sounds like the start of a plan to me.  NOLA/Houma, is that New Orleans?  I haven't been there since the late eighties. 

When I was working there, the husband of an employee would show up on Monday with a big pot of red beans cooked with smoked pig tails and rice.  OMG, I'd kill for that today.

 My sister lives in Houma but I am hoping to make the drive to New Orleans which is about 40 miles away.  You just lost me on the pig tails

Lol!  Not something I cook, but this guy made a salted pig tail the envy of fillet mignon!  Lol!

 I'm really, really pissed off today. 

I was mad at myself last week for failing to control the carbs as well as I should.  I said I needed a .   So, I got my act together.  

Everything else was on point right down to three extra half hours of cardio for the week.  I pulled the carbs back and got myself straight. 

Average per day for last week:
Calories 1316/ Exercise 975/ Deficit 1165 based on a sedentary RMR of 1506 for my goal weight/ Protein 98g/ Carbs, net 25g/ Fat 55g

Despite my Needs Improvement days, statistics landed right where I should be for the week.      BUT I GAINED 1.8 LBS !!!!!      Using the most conservative calcultion method, I should have lost 2.1 lbs.  My **** was stink'n and I fixed it so how in the hell do I still always manage to gain weight. 

Ok, so I know its just a number.  I know the drugs I take cause weight gain.  I know this **** is why I had rny in the first place.  I'm over 50% water today.  BUT I'M STILL PISSED OFF!  HUMPH!!!

I know how you feel about the carbs! I let more into the house than I had originally planned.  This was after Thanksgiving. I went to a holiday party this weekend and promised to bring a punch bowl cake, chili and cornbread. So I made enough cake for the girls and my mom...(yeah right) to have while I was away...the Party was in Maryland. So I get back Sunday..and the cake was calling me the whole time. I was taking little helpings here and there...but those helpings were starting to add up....I could feel myself slipping out of control so I dumped the rest of the cake in the trash before leaving for work. I packed my lunch.....and plan to do it everyday so that the cafeteria here does not blind sight me  again either. Tonight starts wii fitness. I have a goal and will not let up again until its accomplished! 

I also saw the scale creep up from the weekend.  The wii fit scale is off though...so I know I can relay on it! I think its because I have in on a carpet and not hard surface. Wall to Wall makes this difficult. Might try getting a board for workouts at Lowes!

Praying that we can kicked back into gear and keep it!  Try not to beat yourself up...like you say...some things you can't control.

Girl, I keep cake out of the house cause I love it too much.  I ditch food to keep from eating it regularly.  I pretty much take my meals every where also.  I need that control over hidden carbs, fats, sodium etc. 

Now wii seems like fun.  A 4' x 4' piece of 1/2" plywood sounds like what you need.  Do you really get a good calorie burn compared to other workouts?  Does it calculate your calories expended? Tell me what you think of it.

Yep...the cake was a HUGE mistake!! I am definitely going to give you my critique tomorrow.  I am going to stop by Lowes on the way home for the board. I will follow up!

Feeling motivated!!!  Got cardio tonight.  I'll do stair/step.  I need to tighten up my arse.  No seriously.......  I did stair machine last Wednesday and felt the soreness all weekend, so hopefully that is a sign that there might be hope for my saggin arse.  In addition, I'll knock out my leg routine e.g. squats, calf raises etc and of course I'll knock out the ole abaronies.

Diet still sucks.  Trying to maintain 180lbs.  I know my problem is not enough protein.  Thought I was doing good getting in 100 grams per day(although not consistently), but it was recommended to try for at least 150-200, which seems unattainable at this time.  Hopefully I'll get this worked out and be able to do better.
