OT:Chuckee Cheese is the Devil!

First off....I try my best to avoid this place like the plague.....its the most Gawd awful place that could have been invented for kid's entertainment; however, just like most kids.....my youngest daughter LOVES IT! With this in mind and for excellent behavior, I will brave it every now and then....just to make her happy.

The thing that's really ticking me off as of late is the fact that not only is the place over crowded on most days BUT now OUR folks have to be all up in there acting dayum fools and FIGHTING!!!! They actually have hired the Township Police to provide security at the location we visit. I am thinking to myself...surely...it cant just be happening at this one Chuckee Cheese location.....

Well....I go to my FAVORITES and YES...you guessed it...do a goodle search...and lo and behold....fights have been breaking out all over the place at Chuckee Cheeses across the country. There are even videos of actual fights posted all over the internet.  The disheartening part is that all the videos I saw have OUR folks making themselves look like idiots. Shame to say it ...put I was praying to find at least one fight video with folks of more fair complexions...not one. 

I don't know.....I really need to find a better place until...they get these fight situations managed, come up with some better prizes for the excessive aggravation of cashing in those coupons or have someone go up into nasty arse obstacle course (in which my daughter is restricted) to clean out the turd droppings and boogies that I know are all up in there.

If there is one parent out there that finds this place pleasant, please tell me.. .how do you manage. I get goose bumps as soon as they stamp my hand!!! Last night will be the last time for a while.

Funplex.  Funzone.  Jeepers.  while you're on google, run a search for "indoor amusement and PA"  a bunch of alternatives will come up.   if none are around and you must go back don't bother to wash babygirl's clothes just throw em away.   you forgot: the most vile tasting pizza ever known to exist.  lol!  come to think of it, don't go back there gurl, token and ticket related injury? it's just not that deep.  library, nature trail walk, set up a neighborhood treasure hunt, barnes n' noble reading hour, michaels has tons of workshops to keep little hands busy.

You are right...I am just gonna have to bite the bullet and tell my girl this place is off limits. There are a few alternatives but I will have to travel a little distance...would be worth it...now that I am really thinking about it! Hummmm...Michaels is something I will definitely check out...we have one near us.

When we first moved to Arizona, I had my daughter's birthday party there. She was only five, but you have to know this, my daughter has always been an old soul and was really not down for a lot of "kid fun" nonsense but... UPCHUCK- EW-CHEEZ???...she HATED IT!  She was afraid of the giant rodent.  She hated the nasty toe cheese pizza.  She hated all the games and mostly, she hated the cage of balls!  I could not get her out of there fast enough.  Of course, we had to wait for all of the other kids to leave first and she was none to happy about it either.  I was so relieved I never had to take her to places like that again!!! 

After that, she had barbie parties and bowling parties and skating parties and shopping spree parties (that means we let her loose in the mall with fist full of cash) and then we'd have a uncontrolled, squealing, giggling gaggle of girls sleeping over at my house.  One year, I rented a public pool, life guards and all, and she had all her friends over for a blow out swim party with water slides and diving pool.  I was just over joyed I never had to set foot into a nasty chuck-e-cheese again!!!

OMG....toe cheese pizza!

Yes....we always do special parties...and she has a ball at them as well....I just need to find more last minute outlets...where we can go for an hour or so and not break the bank! I look forward to doing the sleep overs....now that she older. Can be more flexible in ones own home!  

I'm with you, I hate going to Chuckee Cheese but will indulge my daughter every once in a blue moon. 

Rest assured though, it's not just US.  We live in a small city in Alabama (predominantly Caucasian), only 1 Chuckee Cheese in the whole area.  Those kids make me wanna slap them...ugh.

There's not a whole lot to do here, but we do have skating, mini-golf, those bouncy places,museums and the Huntsville Space Center so I'll be checking those things out to broaden her horizons beyond Chuckee Cheese.

Yes....we like do do some of the things too...I just hate that she likes that place sooooo much...I can't even drive by without her asking if we can go in.

We all like going to Color me Mine and Build a Bear....but those places will take you for darn near a benny if you are not careful ....
