Hopefully they'll have her call you & extend a personal apology, like Walgreens made that heifer do when I filed my complaint about her not letting me use my sharpie coupons back in the fall.

Bravo! I am a letter writer too, so I won't even begin to add my situations!  But when something like this happened to me a few weeks ago, I wondered about the "management" in these types of establishments.  There should be  a standard for these people in order to deal with these types of situations, because obviously no one is telling them "the customer is always right"  anymore (and maybe that is because there is an abundance of scamming, low-life scheming people in the world). Perhaps basic customer service skills should be an elective in middle/junior high schools, to ensure that everyone get's the opp.  It's unfortunate that this happens because these days, i am susceptible to catching a case and making an example of one of these people... just sayin...

lmao@ catching a case - girl you crazy!

I was taught as a kid how to be a proper hostess - in the summer my mother would have me read Amy Vanderbuilt's Book of Etiquette and Proper Business etiquette - I also had corporate customer service training early on in my career.  HOWEVER - SOME things are just common courtesy and civl, decent treatment.  That making me walk out to talk to her is what tipped the scale for me.

I then asked if they could let the manager know I would like to speak with her – she was seated outside with someone when I returned, and I didn’t want to interrupt.  The employee went out and spoke with the manager, returned inside and told me she’d said I was welcome to come outside to talk to her.

Now this is where I probably would have lost it !  I commend you MM for how you handled this situation.  I probably could NOT have gone outside.......she was beyond rude !!!

Hope you get this resolved............and become a lifetime Starbucks customer for free !!

by the way:: what's the best thing to have on their menu ?  I get the cans from Walmart.......but would like some options.

Mack,
Imma fly ova there and give that chick a kick in the face.  FIRST of all, who the heck is she talkin about you can come outside and talk to her? I wish a mofowould!  You already pissed, the baby didnt get the drink the first time, and she sittn out there probably on a smoke break!  I use just a few simple words...'I am terminating our conversation, you are ineffective..I dont wanna speak to you anymore..who signs your check?'  OR  'You really love your job don't you?' Lol.  You would be surprised and probably laugh at how saying those phrases with a smile will help ppl to get the molasses out their ass and get some GET RIGHT up in their life.  But I feel you on the frustration.  Customer service should be top priority.  Mack, if you want me to, I can fly ova there and put some Shug Avery pee in that chicks water..see how she like THAT! lmbo

didn't even see your post yesterday but going through the exact same thing with a different venue.  dunno if you've already sent it off but what helped me was my own 3 page letter, cc'ing her supervisor and his supervisor (also after too many pulling conversations).  don't ever give up because the person you're talking to won't listen, just talk to somebody who's got the juice to shut them down.

co-signing with the opinion that it wasn't a raced based experience.  she committed to her point of view and didn't wanna back down.

my peanut butta loves her strawberry "frap" too.   you should be getting your "we're so sorry for your inconvenience" gift card any day now!

                                  be happy, laughter burns calories
