it has started.

It has been a while since i have posted but i had to vent a little bit. The negative stuff has started since i have lost alot of weight and it has become pretty noticible. I was warned about this but i must admit it is weird going through it. I lost a female friend last week because she says that i have changed, I am not the same person since i have lost weight....I was told that i am to into clothes now and my attitude is different. Well my response was I am the same person its just less of me. What is wrong with paying the same amount for some stylish jeans and shirt  that i paid for some plain pants and shirt from Big & Tall. HELL you should be happy for me that I feel better about myself and not walking around in sweats and a T-Shirt. She was the last person that i thought i would hear that from...It should not have been a shocker because i was warned 

Ya know, I would say let it run down the back of your spine but since it was a good friend it tends to hurt a little more. Maybe let it cool down and if you all are really great friends it will work itself out. Congrats on the weightloss and I agree, the money we pay for the big clothes can definitely go toward some designer clothes if that's what you chose to do!

The sloppy FAT dude is a safe bet.  He ain't going nowhere, you ain't gotta compete with no broad for his attention, and he's probably got low self esteem and glad that he has a chick in his life at all.  That was your box.

Now - this NEW nicca you are becoming - he got style, a lil swagger getting to something like fly..... prolly had a chick or two check him out when yall out somewhere..... she might have to actually be about something to hold your attention/time..... and she ain't bout shiot so she bounced rather than put in work. 

Sorry cuz - but she actually did you a favor.  And remember this - when someone shows you who they are - BELIEVE THEM!!!!  Cause she will come back around - so make sure to take note of this incident........

Thanks for the reply. I am sure you hit the nail on the head because it started after i stopped wearing the still baggy clothes and people started to give me compliments. We were in the mall one day and she got a straight tude all of a sudden so i asked whats wrong...she said i saw that girl checking you out...well i did'nt and why in the hell get a tude with me...I must admit i was a little razzle dazzled there but the more i think about it you are right, she did me a favor.

YEP!!!  That's the ultimate flag on the play right there!  If other chicks looking - she KNEW she would have to step up and KEEP her game tight.  She too trifling to be in a REAL relationship - one where you and your mate have an even exchange, where you work to keep them and they do the same.  She's lazy and wants a henpecked nicca - one locked in his own mind thinking he can't go nowhere.

I just made a topic about this not too long ago ~ I'm going through the same thing.  I've been told by several people that I am changing, I agree to a certain extent.

Keep your head up ~ dont let them steal your joy.

Leave her behind and don't look back.  You don't exist to fulfill her needs.  If she cannot embrace your personal evolution, you don't need her around you.  You will find out who your real friends are one by one.  There are always new friends to be made. 

So true. Still, it's a bitter pill to swallow that when you are becoming your true self, more confident and self aware, that you find out just how many trolls have been cleaverly disguised as friends. It's a little disheartening. We've all gone through it.

Here's the rub... you ARE changing. Hopefully, the real you is shining through and it's a more confident more aware person. There is NOTHING wrong with this.
