Well I'm holding steady after Thanksgiving but in retrospect I could have done better this weekend.  I started to ease onto the protein train on Saturday.  I had some carbs but all healthy ones, left overs from the holiday meal that I did not sample at dinner.  Fine, on point. 

Then yesterday I went out to eat and ordered a half portion of nachos for dinner.  Not planned, bad impulse. 

So today I'm carb bloated with gas, retaining water, and sucking on the asthma inhaler.  Food is still bossing me around.  I ate just over half of that half order of nachos but it was too much.  My eyes are still bigger than my pouch.  Fullnes is a delayed sensation and by the time I stopped chewing I was over stuffed.   I visualy knewwhen to stop but I didn't. 

Fact is, I had my planned indulgences for the week and should have ordered something healthy.  Instead I said just one more.  It only takes one or two poor choices a week to sabatage everything I've worked for and put the fat back on.  These head issues are what can always bring me down.

I am holding steady....working towards my goal for my visit to my cousins for Xmas. I am tracking my specifics on Fitday.com. Just wanted to thank you for these posts....I know you do them because they help you.  They help me because just seeing the word "accountability" helps me keep it in mind that I need to do this for myself. I survived Thanksgiving nicely!

I'm here checking in..................I have fell all the way off the wagon but dusting my shoulders off and ready to move on! I plan to get in some cardio tonight and I had 2 boiled eggs & cocoa with 1 scoop of protein. I am focused and determined to keep my eyes on the prize.

When nothing else could help................LOVE lifted me!!!!

This is a back on track day for many of us.  I'm working the protein this week and right through Christmas.

Alright girl!  I'm easing into atkins induction level, no more than 20g net carbs a day and 100g protein.  Going for ketosis.

Late checking in but I went "cold turkey" yesterday with trying to remove all of the bad carb taste from my mouth/system.  This is difficult.  I had coffee, protein shake and I wasn't able to eat much after that because I was "battling with my band."  Oh and I had two bites of pecan pie so I will count yesterday as a success story.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
