Question for the Ladies
Ok, has anyone experienced their period arriving every month a day or two early? Before I reached my highest non pregnancy weight of 285, my period was regular every month for 5 days, then after I had my last child and had my tubes tied it was still regular but very heavy.
Now when I had RNY surgery on 9/28/09 my period came on 9/30/09 which it usually came on every 1st or 2nd of the month; but since surgery it has been coming on every 30th or 31st of the month lasting for 5 days only. Is my system just off? Has this happened to any of you other ladies, and if so how long did this go on?

Fat secretes hormones - estrogen i think. more fat, more hormones = jacking your system up.
lose fat = less hormones = system starts working as it was meant to.
I had a similar issue - fat, I would only have 3 periods a year. Now - every month.
SON OF A *****!!!!! I made a list and had no pros to being fat - I had no CLUE that **** was gonna happen!!!!!

To be honest I believe it is the changing of the seasons...every season mine changes but is still regular. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I even had 2 in one month! So believe me it's pretty normal! I used to be every 28 days now I'm every 25 days so I totally understand why your eyebrow raised, lol!

Righ there with MM! My period started on the 2nd day after surgery at the hospital. Not a happy camper, but what can you do. I have noticed that it would be very irregular-either spot for a week and then one for 3-4 days or on for 3-4 heavy days. Everyone is different, but it does have to do with our fat loss. Good luck and just carry your choice of product with you at all times.
