Missed you BAF but I'm back!
HOLIDAY SEASON 2009 IS HERE and we are each responsible to ourselves for manageing it. Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Can you part take in moderation? If this will be challenging for you, how do you plan to get through it?
We should be able to enjoy a holiday feast and then get right back on plan. But lets face it: if it were that simple OH would not need to exist at all. Lets work at being mindful of out eating in the weeks to come.

I have not tracked my details for three days and I'm afraid to look . Thank God for my pouch as I am pumped full of steroids and HUNGRY 24/7. There is just no where to put any more food.
I've had several tablespoons of peanut butter, a slice of pizza (NY style, the real deal not the chain stuff), a footlong subway, and some pretzels between Sunday and today. Split into small servings but a lot more calories than I had planned on eating. The pizza was built into the calories I was paying forward for this week but not the other stuff. I guess my cutting back plan for next week will need extending.
Medical issues are kicking my @$$ this week but I must practice mindful eating. My post op digestive tract does not care for carbs more than a couple of days in a row and has started to rebel. I'm doing shakes and light produce only today. I'm still HUNGRY but the pouch is saying no. Let's hope Ms GrouchyPouchy protests right through tomorrow.

I like your thoughts on moderation. I will take part of that challenge because I made myself head of activities on Thanksgiving. I will be in charge of monitoring the games the kids play. I will also be the caller for bingo and pokeno (family tradition) as well as in the spade tournament. So, when I do remember to eat I will make sure that I go for protein first and then vegetables.
The only thing I really look forward to is the stuffing and since my aunt is making it and not Nana, I think I am safe in saying that I will not be tempted. I will indulge in piece of Nana's pie but only one.

I'm on that train too. I'll get it warmed up for you cause I start Saturday. My holiday plan is for today through Friday. After that, no more leftovers except for the meats.
