Radio Talk - Tonight!
Hey BAF,
I'm personally inviting you to listen to the online radio talk show, "Dem Girlz" at wyca1023.com - tonight at 9:00 Chicago time. Two of my cousins are hosts of this weekly "keepin' it real" talk show which touches on many subjects. Last month, they discussed domestic violence against women and the church and domestic violence.
I am guest hosting tonight's show - the discussion will be childhood sexual abuse and its aftermath. In light of the release of the movie, "Precious" - and the horrific stories of the heinous crimes of abuse against children, we hope to empower and encourage people to speak up and do something about the abuse!
I am soliciting your prayers, as we go forth in discussing a topic that many will not talk about nor report to the authorities.
