Hi BAF

I have a real bad cold, wanted to know what people with WLS are using as a cold medication. Im usually a NyQuil taker, but I was advised not to use it because the alcohol content in it may cause me to dump.

I feel real crummy!! Head ache, body ache, sore throat and stuffy nose. Not trying to be sick over the holiday This liquid Tylenol aint doing it for me!

And suggestions?

Get the sugar free liquid cold medicine.  You shouldn't dump on that.  Most liquid cold medicines have a high sugar content.

wow, that sucks. i use to get sick one week before thanksgiving every year for about 6-7 years, luckily i haven't had a cold/flu in about 3 years, don't know if its luck, or a change in habits.

i find that bombarding my body with high levels of nutrients/ minerals and zinc supplements has helped immensely.....(even at the slight hint of a cold),....."naked" juice(green) makes a good drink, and multi-vits......hopefully this helps your body fight the infection naturally.............hope u feel better soon, take care

I swear by Alka Seltzer Plus Cold...its awesome!!! It will put you straight to sleep though and you'll wake up feeling much better. I only take 1 tablet instead of two..

I always knew there was a skinny person hiding inside of me..
