What Are You Thankful For?

I am thankful for a crazy, but loving family, a wonderful Chihuahua son who loves me unconditionally and does not ask for much, a roof over my head, food on my table, a steady check even though I do not work, a vehicle that works well and is paid for, medical and life insurance, loving friends who treat me like family, ability to see through people and give them what they need by uplifting them and giving them other options to negative obstacles in life, and most importantly I am grateful that my last suicide attempt in 12/28/06 failed.

My ex boyfriend saved my life and I will always be grateful to him for that.

Even though things then felt extremely bad and was caving in all around me I have had much worse days since then and am alive to experience them and change them to my liking.

I would be hella mad if I was not alive to realize all of the greatness that life has to offer if I would have succeeded.

I also would have missed out on seeing my nephews get older and live their lives.

Those are the things that I have to be thankful for.

I am thankful for your inspirational post. Glad you are here to share your successes...of which there are many.

I am also thankful for all our (my family) many blessings (too numerous to mention but I recognize them).

Thankful for our health, love and happiness. Thankful for our challenges and struggles that keep us striving for some resolution and help us to grow.

I am thankful for my family, my life and for love. I am thankful for my RNY and for the life I have to look forward to. I am thankful for sensibility and a mind and heart of my own. Last but not least I am most certainly thankful for all of you from who I have drawn strength, confidence and insight.

oh yeah and I am also thankful for my Magic Bullet cause I have sure gotten my moneys worth these past few days

I am thankful that know matter how far I've gone or no matter how long I've been "away from myself" Jesus is standing with open arms saying, "Welcome Back" without questioning or judging.

Im thankful that God loves me the way he does!!! My family who is ALWAYS there for me when I need them, my friends, my honey bunny. And Idian hair!!!! Got 2 luv it

I am thankful...
...that I know to give thanks to God each and everyday for the many blessings that he gives to me.
...for my two handsome sons as well as my family and their well being.
...for my job that I love and the extra perks that come along with it.
...to have had WLS. It has changed my life completely and I continue to learn from this journey daily.
...for the new love in my life. I pray that our relationship continues to grow stronger.
