O/T: Conspiracy Theory and The Movie "2012"

Ok....Ya'll...I was checking the previews for this movie out. Now, initially I was all in....thinking...this looks interesting. That is on the surface. Then my mind started to get a little carried away....after I started looking at the cast and the overall theme of the movie.  Ok...follow me now. Danny Glover is playing The President of the United States in the year 2012....yes...the year of our next election.

Guess what happens???? Yes...you guessed it....The End of the World! WTF??? They even show the Capital crashing down on folks!


Any thoughts? or should I just carry my arse to lunch...and take a break.

why does this not suprise me !!!!

I was half way joking when I posted Margokae....but seriously....it sort of reminds me of modern day propoganda. Of all the years in the future.,,.,.they say...hey...how about 2012...yeah right...and then Danny Glover scoops the role up ....now all of a sudden the President needs to be played by a Black man to make it seem real....well...I am gonna wait to see the movie....and if the President doesn't save the WORLD....I am going to be hot.   

Funny I had to convo prior to the movie....talkin about Obama....I was sayin bet this mofo ends up being the best pres eva, but we wont enjoy it because bullshiot is gonna go down....lol

I personally feel like we are on the verge of changing our whole entire government...but that is just me...and YES I am conspiracy queen

I SOOOO agree with you RO..... President Obama will be the best POTUS. I mean...when a person look at his position as his calling rather than a job....you know hes going to change some shioot up in there.  The man already has earned more respect from world leaders in 11 months than some have earned in their whole tenure. 

Now back to the movie.....you know there will be some yahoos out there who were towing the line that will take this movie to heart.... I bet you they start showing this movie again...during the 2012 elections hoping to impact votes ... Hell I don't put anything passed that party....when they desperate they don't stop at anything.
