What the heyl....I just saw a dayum tumble weed blow across BAF !!!
Well, Well, I def. have to squeeze Precious into my schedule. "How you doin?" (WW voice). I was up early this morning as my alarm went off while I was sleeping peacefully and the Po Po's rolled up in less than 4 minutes praise Jesus. False alarm though! I was shook thinking that I am going to have to fight someone with my hair all teased up and my eyes still drowsy. Thank God!
Tis better to be dis-liked than to be loved by them cuz your always on their mind.
hey lis gmern'tin all
push is the only book i've ever read that i wanted to stop reading and keep reading at the same time so i'm conflicted. can normally get through a read and keep it movin but i still (vividly) remember having such a feeling of sadness and despair with this one that i dunno if i can see it in living color. and gurl that was like 10, 11 years ago. short tangent: right after push, coldest winter ever was published and i was like oh no, not again but the difference was i came away thinking now this was a story made for the big screen.
in a weird-its-a-small-world-after-all kinda side note gabourey was on oprah (friday? thursday?) last week, listening out the corner of my ear and she's walking to her parents building her mother opens the door, she's introducing her parents, then says my mom's a street performer, cut to a scene of her mother singing in a nyc subway station......i was like I know that lady!! OMG that's Alice Tan Ridley!! - i don't know her, i've stopped to listen to her sing on my evening commute - the way that Gabourey acts, her mother sings, you'll cry. talent all up in thoo that family. done rambling, sawry~~

Hi Marlo,
Yes this young lady is talented! I mean you can tell that she did not just get the role because she looked the part....she got it because she could play the part. Very talented indeed. I am sure she will not be a one hint wonder. I do hope that she is able to get the weight off though...we of all people know...its not healthy. Peace to you.
