How Tragic, Man kills his teenage son for sexually abusing his little sister.

My only rationale is that the father was probably not that bonded to the son. It seems he was with his daughters mother and hence probably more bonded with the daughter. All he probably saw was a man...not boy...messing with his little girl. I also think its sad....especially if its not true or if the boy was trying to get help. All grown folks in this whole scenario...should be ashamed of themselves..... The sad thing is that they probably are not...and will go on living the way they have been...even after this child is in the grave.    

this is a sad tale, regardless of details; molestation/ rape/ incest/ lying/ murder...i'd imagine there are behind- the- scenes stuff that we dont know...some thoughts...

same thing happened in king david's house when his son raped his daughter, he didnt kill his boy, but the girls full brother killed him when david died...

i grew up with this saying "i brought you here, i'll take you out"...for what it's worth, nobody deserves to TAKE MY KID OUT except for me...if my kid gotta be murdered, I should be the one to do it...sorry...

some of these kids is ****** up...oftentimes we recognize problems with them when their younger than 15 and dont realize the totality of their issues until THEY have killed someone...teens constitute nearly 1/3 of murders committed in this country...we must stop excusing our kid's inappropriate and disrespectful behavior and hold them to accountability when they are young...

whatever the case for this family, i pray their strength...

So, you're saying that it is a parent's right to kill their child if he/she sees fit?

When did holding a child accountable for their actions become killing them.  I don't know all the details in this case but one would hope that a parent hearing there is a possibility that one child molested another child would at least wait until the rage has passed and then talk to his child to find out the details by actually talking to the child and not at the child then proceed with getting the child help.

When I first heard this story I was like how sad and cold. My next sentence was rthe boy must of sexually abused someone in his family. Rather he did or did not is not a reason for another person to take his life. This whole situation breaks my heart no matter what we may find out later.

The psychiatric stand on child molesters is that they can't be rehabilitated.  It's something about how they are wired that there is no effective way to rehabilitate them.  That desire never leaves them. If the father knew that then that is the reason why he killed him.  Even though the son told what he did and expressed he needed help there really isn't any real help for him. 

I grew up  under the "I'll take you out myself" system.  I always knew if I did anything heinous I would never live to see the police or jail.  My mother would take me out so they wouldn't have to.  You don't sit by and let your child hurt other people.  While I don't agree with killing them something needs to be done. 

I really don't know what type of punishment the father should get.  He kept his son from molesting someone else.  I'm pretty sure he will gladly sit in jail for this crime.  He was not going to let his son hurt someone else especially a family member.

If I can find the newer link I will post it, but as it turned out, examination revealed that he did NOT molest his sister. Secondly, the parents of the boy have been separated for some time and the father was living with his girlfriend (the mother of the 3 year old) It is now being alleged that it was she, the mother of the 3 year old who told the father..makes one wonder....

Secondly, there IS DEFINATELY a way to stop a child molester from molesting...castration! but the lawmakers of America dare not go there because it's too much like right.

I am just as hot about this as you but the one thing they have wrong is that molestation does not just involve penetration. Any kind of inappropriate touching, fondling or having the child to performs sexual acts on the person is also considered molestation as well.....any kind of sexual activity for ones own gratification involving a child is molestation.

Believe me...they would have the definition right if it was a black perpetrator and a white victim. 

ETA: I thought I read that they were talking about a "physical examination"....if they are referring to a "physical and mental examination"....then...they might have it right... however with a 3 year old child...I am betting they are just referring to a physical "examination" 

I'm not understanding where the mentality of parents think it's okay to kill someone no matter what. That's not okay. This story has hurt me to my heart. The articles have stated that it was later proven that the little girl WAS NOT molested SO something was lost in translation. I was not raised with the mindset that "I brought you into this world and I'll take you out". I was raised that God gave me life and when it is my time to go then it is my time.

I am a survivor of molestation and it wasn't a relative but I never wished death on the guilty parties. It is not within my makeup because we are all sinners saved by grace. I can tell you that 3 of my molesters lived short lives and didn't prosper but it wasn't because of something I wished or prayed. I was a child when it happened and yes I was messed up for a while and still have problems but for people to talk about killing their own kids on here just leaves me feeling sick.

I was merely a vessel for my children to be born but God gave them life and I have no right to take it and neither does anyone else. Two wrongs doesn't make a right.

This post has just.....wow....made me rethink human kind altogether. I never knew this thought process even existed and it hurts me to the core of my being to know it exists.

I agree Neena.  It really hurts my heart that people have this mindset and see nothing wrong with just killing their own child in cold blood.  I work in the mental health field and have never been taught that molesters cannot be rehabilitated and therefore should be killed by their parents.  When I was young and did something wrong, my mom would have to go calm down because she said, "if I hit you now, I would kill you."  That's a reasonable parent.  Things can easily be misunderstood and lost in translation so that's why a parent should not touch a child when they are enraged.  They should calm down and talk to the child to see what the situation really is.  The litle girl may not have even been molested and we'll never get to hear the boy's side of the story which is just a shame.
