All I can say Naomi is that I am sitting here taking notes from the masters.....you guys are speaking the truth!!! We as "black" women have a hard enough time...trying to measure up to our own expectations....let alone those of our families, communities and hell the world! Feeling as if we have to be superwoman all the dayum time. Unfortunately for us all...we have been placed in the position as the cornerstone and foundation of the "african american family..... I for one...am tired......still waiting for black men as a whole to regain their position as the head of the family.... I welcome it!!! but to do that...its going to take not only taking a hard look but make a commitment to values, traditions, partnership, communication, trust and the like....  Looks and swagga be dayumed. Just look at me as a equal partner...respect me...and show me love... and accept these things in return without feeling as if theres always some ulterior motive.  Definitely a lot of work....but with all this shioot going on in this world....hell....we are running out of time....I fear.

Thats why...I am going to live my life to the fullest.....do my thing....and don't give two shioots what anyone thinks.   If I ultimately end up with a brown, white, yellow or  no man at all ...hell...it will be by my choice. Folks need to stay in their own business. Thats my two cents.
