Aight - I'm looking at the feedback and wondering.........

How come it is that we can come up with lists, but either fall short of them ourselves or take issue with the lists themselves?  Couple, two, three folk wanna edit, amend, condense, write off or otherwise change the lists - what's the problem???

Just like my FB status a couple days ago clarifying what a big dyck REALLY is..... dudes ain't wanna say JACK on front street - but came at me on the private message challenging the statement saying that I'm trippin, or it's relative- HUH?
*my thought - if you felt irked enough to challenge it, you ain't packin one*

but I digress.......

If a dude say 'I like thin, white women' - umm - ok - do you boo!  I'm not going to front him over about 'why you hatin the sistas?  whad wrong witchu?' - now, I COULD point out that he's passing up on a wonderful sista like myself, but guess what?  He don't CARE!!!  cause that's his view!

and another thing - why is a statement in the affirmative for one thing assumed to be a definition of having something lacking or required to be quanified for the other side.  I.E - EVERY time the subject of Good/Bad men come up - there's ALWAYS the need to counterpoint with 'What about Good/Bad WOMEN'........ why is that???   just curious as to why some feel that's always necessary/appropriate or needed?

aw crap!.......gurl i had things i needed to get done today too.

disqualified (i hope) cuz i wanna make sure if i ask for it, i can offer it.

not sure i understand the objection(s) either - think most people have a list/blueprint/model/idea of what they want but not everybody takes the step of writing it down.   w'ever.

One thing for sho and two for certain....

I'm glad as hell that I'm not in the dating game.

I get tired reading all of this stuff.  Whew!  I can't remember going through this.

God bless the single folks.

Cookie you sound so much like me!!

I can't remember going through all of this mess either, and because of all the GAME I hear about, I would end up behind bars dating in this date and time.

I know I'm going to get flamed by my sisters, but what the hell...

If you know your **** is jacked up, why do you want or think you deserve a perfect man?

Women have set standards that they can't live up to themselves. This tickles the **** out of me.

This goes for the brothers, too (just thought i would qualify this for Mack Mama...lol)

You know I love you but I guess I'm one of those girls that tickle the **** outta ya. Call me crazy but someone like me is gonna reach....even when **** is clearly outta my range. There been many a time that I may not have been qualified for the ideal job, but went for it anyway. I also did not have the grades in high school, yet I applied for an Ivy League (and got in).  I want a house (not a townhouse like I have), but I live paycheck to paycheck and my credit is whack but I'll probably still try to go for it. For me it's no different for finding a parther (my azz is going to reach there too)

Now to answer your question, why do I think I deserve perfect?  Maybe it's stubborness, maybe I'm a dreamer, or plain flat out in denial. Maybe it's the hope that setting a very high standard will motivate me to want to do better and stay there. Or it's the delutional thinking of knowing while the odds are certainly stacked against you, there's that ever so slight possibility that you might just get lucky......
