OT- Do people ask your age?

All the time.  My birthday is on Monday and so naturally people are asking me "how old will you be" which is ....strange to me.  However, when I tell them, they are shocked.  They place me about 12 years younger than I am.  Which is complement for sure.  Honestly, I think for the most part, it isn't appropriate to ask someones age, unless its for medical or legal reasons.

Well i'm gonna be inappropriate and ask.

I have always been asked my age because by the time I was 12, I was 6" tall  and fully developed and was thought to be 20 !!!! Yeah it was some perverts after me.  But I still get asked the question and people say I look young but I don't think so. I'm 42 and these teenagers and strokes and illnesses have put some age on me, not to mention all of this grey in my head.   I think that both of my sisters look my age and they are 52 and 53 so people just don't look their age anymore. I'm happy to have made it to 42.
