Question for you freebee'rs?

I was wondering if you guys have had an increase in junk mail since you started applying for the freebees?
I ask because, I like free but I hate junk mail and that was my concern whether they would start sending all kinds of junk mail to me.

That can be a drawback, but if you don't have a spam email create a couple through hotmail or yahoo.   You may or may not have noticed, (as I had discussed this on my very first post about this) I will note if you have to use a real email, if I know beforehand that you will have to respond before they will send out the sample, like today's posting in regards to the trulemon.

It's also good to have a couple of spam emails, because if you want to request additional items, the system will sometimes recognize your email addy if you've used it before for the same request.

So it's all good!

I was also referring to postal mail.  Do you get any junk mail via the post office since they have your address?

I've been going hard on this for the las 4 years & my junk mail input has been minimal. on occasion i'll get a obscure catalog or 2, but not to the point where it's annoying.   one of my friends registered a freebie for her husband.  guess what he started getting in the mail?   An american girl catalog!!

Yeah I get more junk mail,  it's because companies sell their mailing lists.   It is annoying but I like getting samples.

I assumed as much.  It's bad enought that I have so much junk mail now that I bring it to work to use the industrial shredder, don't think I could handle anymore.  Junk mail drives me bananas.

You will be suprised what deals come in the mail sometimes.

I have received coupons and ordered some dirt cheap cute stuff from  store(s) I have never heard of.

Hmmm. that's one way to make it a possitive.
