An Introduction LONG Overdue
Greetings all!!!
I am a new member to your board, but have been on this site/msg board everyday for nearly 11mos. I stumbled upon the site in the beginning of the year when I began my WLS journey, and was trying to do my research. I have read your posts which have been funny, entertaining, informative and encouraging. I don't really have any questions right now because like I said, I have been on this site almost everyday for sometime now (I have been taking notes, and bookmarked important info I have seen)...just too chicken to say HELLO!!!
I am scheduled for RNY on 12/14 which is 2 days after my 30th BDAY! I am excited, and a little nervouse...but still open for any words of advice as I approach my big day. I know that some of you have been around for sometime now, but please don't be annoyed by this new kid on the block when I do come for advice...I am a knowledge seeker and question asker.
You will be hearing from me regularly as I need much support in this journey. Although I have family and friends who support me and my decision to have this surgery...there is no one in my immediate circle who is really trying to make choices and changes for a healthier life style.
