Overreaction?!? Got me freaking out!

So I had surgery on 8/17 and I"m down about 65 pounds, I currently weigh 217 lbs. This weekend I got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in awhile, and they FLIPPED! OMG! You look fabulous, this is the best I've ever seen you look, and ON and ON and ON! One friend said I didn't look like other people they knew who had the surgery all saggy and hollowed out, like a bobble head doll. I'm like dang, I knew they'd notice but figured they say something about me loosing weight, Now I feel like by the time I reach my goal they're going to be saying I'm too skinny or look sick or something. Will I look like a bobble head doll?? I work out 4 times a week so that my entire body tightens up as the weight falls, but I have noticed that I have hit a plateau also, too much resistance? I don't know what to do?? It's definitely not going to stop me from working towards my goal but still!! Has anyone else had this over reaction? What am I supposed to do?
Love, Jen

Get use to it  sometimes the comments about how good you look now will make you think  "DAMM HOW BAD DID I LOOK BEFORE".

I have been told that I look too skinny and I'm still not much but over 200 lbs.  My grandmother tells me to stop not to loose anymore mean while she is 5'8" 130 lbs soak'n wet..

You have to do what's best for you.  I alway thought that I would have to be 150 lbs to wear a size 10-12 but i have come to learn that at 205 I am wearing a size 10-12.  I still want to be under 200 lbs but if I never get there and am able to stay where I'm at right now I'm good.

So take what they say as a grain of sand and bru**** off.

RIght that's exactly what I was thinking, well I must have been a hot mess before, lol.  Some people just don't think before they speak. I'm in a size 16 and enjoying it for now, My goal is a 10 but again it's not about the size all too much. I'm not really worried about the actual number either. I'm only 5'1 so clearly 217 is still obese for me. I'm gonna bru**** off girl, lol.

I've only heard the 'bobble head' type comments about people who had wls and never about others who loose a lot of weight relatively quickly on a diet pill/ crash diet combos.  Hmmmnn, simply wls haters once again.  we look no different in the end than anyone else who looses a large amount of weight.

No matter how you loose it and how hard you exercise loose saggy skin will happen to most of us somewhere on our bodies.   You luckily have good resiliance in your skin.  Plateaus will happen too its just natural for the body to adjust.

Don't sweat reactions.  Your wls is all about you.  What you want to get out of this and your continued good health is all that matters.

So what did you do to get over a plateau or did you do anything? Yeah my arms are clearly going to be a problem area, but I know how to dress to compliment my body. In terms of the other saggy body parts i work really hard at tightening, drinking lots of water and moisturizing my skin so it will keep it's elasticity, at least i can only pray it does, lol. Vaseline Cocoa Butter oil is great! lol. Thanks for the encouragement, and I'm sure there will be haters, lol.

Your going to hit many plateaus trust me.  Then what's going to happen is your weight number will stay but your inches will start going down.  That's where I'm at when I started at 205 3 months ago I was a size 14-16 now I'm still at 205 but in a size 10-12.  At first it was driving me crazy but hey what can I do.   Just take each day at a time.  I hear all the time I look smaller than 205 but then they say well your tall.  I'm 5'8" 205 and on the BMI scale (use to be my weight lost BIBLE I laugh at it now) I am still over weight.  So I say **** It (excuse the language) and go with it.

Girl....people will talk if you stay big.  People will talk if you lose weight.  Point is....people will talk.  Continue to do what you have set out to do, you look great.

Plateaus happen, it's your body's way of trying to play catch up.

Congrats girl and you do look good.

Well I have this crazy grandbaby's momma because I didn't kiss her butt during this conversation,  she had the nerve to comment to someone that I look like a bobble head......lol
Well I was a little upset at first, but now I'm like you hater is that all you got for me, can't call me ugly or fat, nappy head, the list could go on and on. (side trip) sorry.
But anyway I had my boss say to me you don't want to lose too much more weight or you are gonna start looking sick, but you never said that when I was fat and killing myself.
Take the compliments and haters remarks I found out some people just don't know what to say.
But BOBBLEHEAD though
