Centric....The New BET???

Anybody hear this or watch this station? I am just hearing about it this am on Tom Joyner. I looked at the website and I am wondering if BET is trying in some way to turn over a new leaf. Let me know your thoughts. I mean they have "gotten" enough flack about the cesspool of shows they air.... Do you think they can start to be more socially responsible? Would the dollars still come in if they do?

I may check it out when Black people who watch my kind of programming start talking about it.  Until then, just another corporation vying for my $$$.  How much more entertainment news and old re runs of shows staring Black cast do I need? 

I do watch TV1.  Not a bad station.

Hey MSW....I am with you...I would rather get the reviews before I start wasting my time..surfing a channel. BET has a lot to prove...but I am hoping that they are trying to make a transition for the better. I think they realize the market they are missing....folks with sense! I have to check out TV1's offerings... I have been trying to lay back a little and watch a little more regular TV.
