Morning Yall

HOLY SMOKES !!!!!

My goodness this was a long, challenging run.  It was a total of 63:42 min.   OH MY DAM !!!!
I was surprised how strong I ran it until I got to run #5 and had to start pushing myself to keep going.

It was (6) 8 min runs with 1 min breaks that felt like 1 second.     I cannot even begin to tell you how excited my heart got when I made it to run 5,  knowing that I was almost about to complete 64 freaking minutes of running.  I was so excited, yes dying but very excited.

My hair is drenched, the back of my knees are dripping,  there is a puddle of sweat in my sneakers, and I am exhausted BUT very happy.

I hope you all enjoy the feeling of being strong enough to do this, and really appreciating it as much as I did this morning.   It is such a HUGE accomplishment and i'm very proud of us all.

HAVE A GREAT RUN !!!

I kept thinking when I started couch 25K I could not run 30 seconds! I thought my heart would leap out my chest!

I have come a long way to be able to run this long and not end the run gasping for my next breath!

This morning that 1 minute was truly like 1 second. Soon as I take a sip of water and wipe my face it was back to running!

Now that the runs are getting over an hour, I am seriously considering running in the evening.

4am Valerie is totally wrecking havoc on night-owl, insomniac Valerie. If I ran in the evening I could go back to 5am Valerie.

Thanks for the inspiration Lee and way to go on your run today!

Same here I remember when I round up the couch 25K group, the morning of the first run I thought what the hell have I done.   I was dying running 30 seconds forget 2 min.

Your so right Fionna I ran this run and while I was tired I was not out of breath,  I was doing my regular labored breathing, but I was not dying or felt like I needed a inhaler.   My lungs are so much stronger.

I just feel so proud today having run 64 minutes,  I am almost emotional it's so great.   I don't like running that long, but that doesn't matter.  What matters is that I CAN run 64 minutes.
