Wow!! I just cannot believe GROWN MEN would even want to have sex with a little girl...this is why I despise ALL 40 + over year old men that want to date women half their age IMO they are pedophiles too...

All involved the mother and even the men (who had sex with the little girl) should get the death penalty...there is no rehabilitation for people like this...

Words just cannot describe how sick this is...I wonder if the mother is on drugs? The little girl is so pretty...this is a shame.

Hey Naomi.....maybe drugs but might have been coupled with outright jealousy.....and hate. No maternal instinct and other sociopathy to boot....the child did not have a chance!

My questions are regarding the Father...yes my heart aches for him, BUT... after reading that Shaniya was the result of a one night stand and that he has been the one raising her until a month ago , I wonder just how well he actually knew the Mother? How could he think that any type of bonding had taken place? She obviously wasn't bonded to her daughter.  My prayer is that when he turned Shaniya over to her mother that he did it through the courts or he may also find himself on the wrong side of the law.

And as for the Grandma saying that her daughter is a good mother my first thought was that the "acorn doesn't fall far from the tree" and perhaps in her mind she sees stuff like this as normal.

When will society finally say enough is enough, in cases like this and others stoning should be LAW. Mess like this doesn't happen in countries where they KNOW their fate should they cross that line.

I really hate to say it but I am so feeling this LAW right now...at this moment...my emotions are raw right now.....so YES!!!! I WOULD cast the first stone in this case! Just the thought of what this child might have had to endure...makes me sick to my stomach.....

I  know Donna...I need to take it down a notch..myself...words really can not express what I am feeling....need to just sit quiet for a moment for real....pray for this poor baby and all the others that are suffering. I have myself worked up. Just makes me so angry!

father - who hands their child off to (basically a stranger) without seeing how they live?

grandmother - why would you tell other people that you think a woman who would bear a child just to do her harm is a good person? why would you say that?

Naomi the first thing i thought was drugs too but i'm sorry (this isn't said at you i'm just talking) no practical experience with drug addiction but even if i weren't connected to a child, i don't believe there's a substance in the world that could make a person who's rational to begin with (big if) do something that evil. 

pedophiles and murderes and other detestable types wouldn't even flinch at society's scorn, they're missing the piece of the human brain that makes the moral distinction between right and wrong.   co-signing Que, betcha eye for an eye kinda justice would help out a lot with that tho.

 

Hey Marlo...missed you...sorry we meet again in this sad thread. I think that there are going to be a few folks that carry guilt about this one....for a while.  

Marlo as I suspected she WAS on drugs and had kids scattered everywhere by different men... and I hear she is pregnant again and the white guy who fathered the little girl mentioned that she was just a one-night stand and he raised the little girl to try to do the right thing....and her drug dealer friend was seen on surveillance camera with the little girl in his arms taking her into a hotel room made me want to barf..

These type of women who seem to have babies scattered by different men should not be allowed to raise them and they SHOULD be ordered by the court  to be sterilized IMO, but I doubt she will be getting out of jail anytime soon so it's too late for that anyway.

But yea you are right you dont' have to be on drugs to have this type of sick behavior..

MarloT is right.  Drugs don't make a person do something like this... there is something else missing.  I was a foster parent and most of the parents we dealt with had drug issues and they never did anything remotely near something like this. They would drop the child off (family member or left home alone) when they went on a binge or disappeared.  Selling a child was not even on the radar.  This is something a sociopath would do... not connection to another human being.
