You are welcome, I am really hoping it is going to be a good movie... I am also looking forward to seeing Precious, it is not showing in my neck of the woods yet. Have you seen the movie, Precious yet, if so what did you think about it?

I haven't seen Precious yet...I haven't checked into rather or not its showing out here....I have been catching interviews with the lead actress though....I just love her spirit she is so beautiful to me

I actually saw the preview of the movie last week...It looks to be a pretty decent movie...who knows how decent it will be til it is released...and I agree...Black princesses UNITE, DAMMIT!

Now as for my granddaughter, Brooklyn...her bookbag's princess - BLACK!  Cuz that's how WE DO IT UP IN THIS HUR PIECE! Picture below:

Hello all, I must say I was really excited when I found out Disney was going to do a "Black," princess movie. I live out in CA, and I know I have seen alot of dolls, clothes, dresses, even cooking books out for this movie. I admit it my 3 year old was even Princess Tiana for Halloween! I never thought of the language or even that the movie is being centered in New Orleans (I think) as a bad thing. I think it is great that my daughter now has a Disney princess that will favor her a little more than the others. I really think this is a good thing and hopefully it will open the doors for more "Black," main characters in our kids' cartoons. Would it be to much to ask for some biracial characters though?? Sorry had to throw that one in! ( I am biracial, as well as my girls)
