10K UnderWay, Week 5, Run 2. Running For the Vets Today

Lord oh Lord this run was difficult for me this morning and I know it's because I ate those dam salty ass corn nuts before I went to bed. But as difficult as it was I did it . Never eat salty stuff the night before a run.
I was finding it really really hard to lift my feet this morning, my arms and legs felt like planks and I can feel the fluid in my back and even in my face. I'll probably take a water pill to get rid of this dam water cause I feel like a barrel.
I know a lot of us has the day off, but i'm hoping my runners don't take a day off from running. It's the perfect day to run, everyday is a good day to run.
I still haven't decided on the treadmill yet. I went and looked at a couple of them and they are fancy now a days. They even have sd card slots and you can have Jillian Michaels train you on the treadmill where she controls the speed and everything. I like that but i'm still not sure but my knees need the new cushion technology treadmills have now.
So anyway my run is done today, Hope you guys enjoy your day off and get your run done.
I forgot to adjust the upstairs AC unit and I was sweating like a beast. The heat made it much harder for me but I got through it. I am now running with music and the pause between each song bothers me. I still need to tweak my play list to get a good line up of songs with an up beat tempo. I bought exactly 29 songs last week and still dont have what I think I need for my workout.
What songs do you listen to? I have realized that Survivor by Destiny's Child is the song that can push me through when I am having a difficult time. I think I may need to schedule it to play at various points throughout my workout or just keep it on repeat. I am not coordinated enough to work my Ipod and run at the same time or even walk at the same time. I know this from experience.
So whats your workout play list?
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

Hey Heavenly
It's not as much about the music for me right now as it is the running the bpm speed at the pace of the music. I just try to keep up with the beat.
I can't stand running inside when it's to hot, I tell you I open all the windows and the patio door before I run and my house is super cold when i'm running, but in the summer it's hard cause it's so dam hot. I turn on the AC and get er done.
I am using the podrunner program and I like it because it has the bpm speed and I just run to the consistant beat of the music which puts me in the correct pace and correct heart beats. When I listen to my own playlist I tend to find myself running with the pace of the song and a lot of those songs the bmp are just way to slow for running.
So when you move on to the 8K you may want to consider using the podrunner program so that you can have the bpm that will regulate your pace.
