I'm still fat, but it depends. If my band is acting up and we are out at a meal-I just fess up. I don't really feel the need to hide the fact that I had band surgery-if and when a relationship gets physical I'd have to explain the scars-my port scar is pretty noticeable since I had surgery that used that incision twice.
Right now I'm about the size I was in most of the pics I have displayed at home-actually I look smaller since I've had a breast reduction too.
I dated one guy that made a negative comment when something came on TV about WLS-safe to say that was a big red flag and was my 1st clue he was an ********o that was pretty short lived.
I fear that my weight and maintaining my health will always be a struggle for me, so I usually broach the topic that I'm working on losing weight and exercising pretty early on. If a guy isn't open or supportive of that there's no need to go further.

Dear Free - Having just celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary last September, I have no "dating" advice. LOL
My thoughts on the subject are - tell him right away. If he isn't supportive (and/or is rude and crude) that way you don't have to waste any time on him. Think "Hallmark" slogan - You DESERVE the very best.
Who ever wins your heart is, indeed, a very very lucky guy.
