Yesterday was good except for supplements and too little plain water.  Cal 1264/ prot 133g/ net carb 32g/ fat 60g.  No workout so nearly break even with my base rmr.  I must move today for sure.

Today I plan more of the same high protien, low carb, moderate fats.  I'm shooting for a quart of water and 64 oz total liquids.  I'll be buying multi vits today so supps should be on track.

It will be a  tough one because I'm going to a dinner party that will be the opposite of a good wls meal in every way.  Hell its a problem for anyone serious about weight control.  Delicious traditional cooking that is high in fats, white carbs and sugars and lacking in real nutrition.  Skipping the rice is the hardest thing for me.  I always keep backup meals when I go out, just in case.

The hostess is a close friend who was with me check in to check out for my wls surgery.  Knowing her so well, I've mentally scetched my meal in advance minus the high carb foods, fatty gravy, and veg cooked in pork fat.  I want desert so I'll pay it forward at the gym today so I can relax and enjoy.

Hey Marcia!

I am doing excellent!  I even resisted the football food last night at the game and boy do I feel like I can take on the world and kick everyones a$$...LOL.  Since Tuesday I have lost 7.6 pounds of the 14 I had gained over the past 4-6 weeks.  I can't get my water in but we both know that this is nothing new.  Good luck to you as you resist the evil carbs at the dinner party..

Today's plan:

B-Coffee (I have been at the doorbuster sale at JCP and I am about to eat some cheese but I am really not hungry at all)
L-Salad
D-Fried Turkey and mustard greens/green beans
Water-32 ounces

Girl what is your secret!    I'm going on the Faith T back on track diet!  I'll be drawing from your strength tonight for real.

Stadium food is tough to resist.  I'm a Northern girl in the deep South so I don't get the football frenzy but I am the only one.  We have two high schools in this county and I get some crazy looks cause I haven't picked a team.   These folks want you to declare it, lol.

LOL @ what is your secret.  My secret weapon has been Atkins or the Protein Train. If I am really strict and no nibbling...in 10-14 days I can lose anywhere from 9-17 pounds (it depends on the nibbling).  I have had success each time that I have needed to get my butt back in gear.  I started Tuesday and I will go through next Saturday 11/14.  Our family will be having Thanksgiving that day.  I will enjoy it and get back on it Sunday 11/15 and ride through Thanksgiving day. Football is serious business here too.  You had better hurry up and pick a team before they run you out of the county...LOL.

I'll be on that protein train on Monday.  I've been doing ok on Atkins but only induction level ever really works well for me.  I'm going to get the kitchen straight tomorrow and ride that train until Thanksgiving.  Thanks girlfriend.

If I can stick with it through the holiday season and only take a break on each holiday I should make goal for my birthday.  That will be one week before my one year follow up.  I'd kill for 2-3lbs a week steady.

Whasssupppp!!!!  LOL

I'm good - still holding at 190 tho - I haven't been going hard at all - TOM, stress, life ****'s been on my mind lately.

BUT - I have decided to switch up - I've grown bored with the routine up to now - and I went and stocked up on protein shakes.  I'd only been eating these last two months, that was a shake up, so I'm looking to shock my system again.  I'll do a 40g shake a day - Atkins for eating.

I'll be in the gym tomorrow - probably working out at home during the week -I have a stretching and lil weight routine that gets me tired and sweaty.

I've finally figured out the need to shake it up periodically to cure boredom and for us newbies to keep loosing.

Is your stretching routine from a book or is it your own thing?  Its time for me to shake up my flexibility routine and I need ideas.

My streches are from the weight lifting routine book I have from last year.  I'm not totally doing the routine, but I am using many parts of it right now - the stretching as the warm up being key for me.

I finally got in and go that fill I sp desperately needed.  There's no way I could head into ho;iday season eating the way I was.  Last night was a little uncomfortable since its been so long since I've had restriction.  I'm back to the basics and eating only mushies yesterday, and today.  Tomorrow I'm going to start the 5 day pouch test-it should be so much easier now with restriction.

My knees have been acting up again so I've dug my ice packs out and I'm going to get back to the exercises the physical therapist had me doing-I'm not too interestesd in doing anything with more impact until the knees feel better.
