Shooting on Fort Hood....
Man have you guys heard on the news about 12 being killed and 31 injured in Fort Hood, TX yesterday? That was RIGHT IN MY BACK YARD! Literally I can walk there from my house. I lived on fort hood for 5 years when I was younger, and my husband works there now! It took him hours to get out of Fort Hood last night, they had it locked down. You hear it all over the news, but you never think it will happen to you. It is a very sad day here in Fort Hood / Killeen, TX. ...i've definitely been praying. as a 10 year army veteran...i'm totally shocked at what happened. i never was stationed permanently at ft hood...but i did go there to train some folks once, when i was stationed at ft bliss in el paso. (i'm still very sad about this situation....)
