#1 MM has me thinking
Hi Isa,
I have been pondering that question myself as I begin this journey. Some of my friends tease me saying that I'm going to be a piece of work after surgery because they think I will be somewhat conceited or something. But these are friends I've just met since I became obese. The fact of the matter is I was always considered skinny. Growing up I was given a meal supplement called 'Weight On'.
As a teen and a young adult at 5'7" I was still considered small, between 125 & 133 lbs up until I got pregnant with my first child. After two children I hovered around 165 to 180 for many years and I loved it because everything was in the right place I was considered 'full figured' and I loved my chunkiness!
Now thanks to meds., stress and some mo' stuff -- here I am at 290. But for the longest time I had to do a double take when walking past a mirror because my insides didn't match my outsides! I have been so depressed about my weight gain and many health issues, but I jokingly told my daughter about six months ago that I was just going to "embrace my fluffiness" but I just want to go back to the chunkiness. But I do worry about the saggy skin for the past 6 or so years of obesity.
Talisha: I am praying for you & your babies too.
