I Did It And I Feel Great !!!!!
Thank y'all so much for the pep talk on Fri. I went to the Mixer Fri. night, the AKA brunch and Tailgaiting and had a ball !!!!!!! I didn't wear the courdurouy skirt because the size that fit was a size 8 and wouldn't buy that size since I'm supposed to be gaining weight for my health. I wore jeans and a nice tight shirt. I wore buisness casual at the brunch and jeans and an AKA shirt with a sweater to tailgaiting because I was freezing. I felt like a new woman.
Y'all no one knew that I had gotten fat because I never went back, this was my first time in 19 yrs, but I just can't lie. My favorite soror, we were friends before we pledged because we played basketball together, asked me how I stayed so thin and fit. I did my little spiel about 15 grams of protein to 30 grams of carbs but I just couldn't do it..... I just told them I had surgery.
I just can't lie, oh well that cat is out of the bag. Some of my friends on facebook know about my surgery but know that I don't like to talk about it.
Thanks for giving me a push and making me feel good about myself. I had fun and drank water the whole time and didn't go to one club.

Hi Neenaj..................This is so ironic! I could pretty much have written this same story from two weeks ago! I went back to homecoming after over a decade and for my 25th anniversary with my sorors also. (Except I made the choice to go with the sensational ladies of DST!).......but it's all Greek love!...
Not a lot of them knew that I had put on so much weight over the years, but I decided to just share my experience with them and told them about the wls. I'm glad that I did, because one of my sorors who had gained over the years as well pulled me aside to share that she was interested in wls and wanted to talk with someone who had been through it. So I got to share some info about wls and see friends I'd really missed. I'm so glad I went and I had a ball walking back on the yard and down memory lane!
